Licensed Social Worker & Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor

With 26 years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field, I specialize in supporting individuals facing both mental health and addiction challenges. My work focuses on helping clients navigate significant life transitions and the emotional complexities that come with them—such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, whether rooted in childhood or adulthood.

My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and integrative. I believe that healing begins with creating safety—both within the therapeutic relationship and within the client’s body and mind. I use methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, somatic awareness, and inner child/parts work to help clients process trauma, rebuild resilience, and rediscover self-worth.

My personal journey in recovery began 27 years ago, when I was guided by compassionate counselors who helped me realize my own strength and potential. Their support inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others find hope and healing. I understand firsthand the impact of addiction, trauma, grief, and loss, and I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their stories and build tools for lasting change.

Whether you are coping with chronic pain, stress, or life transitions, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, rediscover your identity, and move toward healing and wholeness. Recovery and healing are lifelong processes that thrive in safety, connection, and self-compassion. I am here to walk alongside you as you find your freedom to fly and the power to begin again.
