    You Are Not Alone

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 58.7 million adults in the United States experience mental illness. Of those 58.7 million, about 13 million experience posttraumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, at some point in their lives. PTSD can create feelings of distrust, hypervigilance or paranoia, feelings of anger, depression, and sadness. It may also cause you to experience distressing nightmares or even flashbacks of traumatic and life-altering events. Although you are not alone, your experience is unique to you. We each walk through life looking through a different lens, which impacts how we view and experience the world around us. With therapy, that lens begins to look different, lighter, and more manageable.

    There is Hope

My approach to therapy focuses on helping you create a life that not only feels manageable but one you want to live. I’m trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which is especially helpful for people dealing with overwhelming emotions, trauma, depression, or anxiety. DBT teaches straightforward, real-life skills that make it easier to manage stress, stay calm during difficult moments, communicate more clearly with others, and stay grounded in the present. You’ll learn how to handle strong emotions without feeling out of control, speak up for yourself in a healthy way, and make thoughtful choices, even when life feels chaotic. These tools aren’t just for the therapy room, they’re meant to be used in everyday situations, whether that’s at work, in relationships, or during moments of self-doubt. Each session is shaped around you, your goals, your story, and your strengths. Clients often say that therapy with me feels practical, validating, and real. We’ll work together to build skills that make a difference in your day-to-day life, with plenty of support and encouragement along the way. Therapy is a space where accountability and safety go hand in hand.

With over five years of experience supporting people through tough seasons, I’ve seen how powerful this work can be. Therapy isn’t just about symptom relief, it’s about learning to live with more confidence, stronger relationships, and deeper self-understanding. My goal is to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and create a more fulfilling life, one step at a time.

    What are you afraid of?

Therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to have fears or doubts about the process. Many people worry about being judged, feeling vulnerable, or not knowing what to expect. Others may fear their problems aren’t “serious enough” for therapy or that change will be too difficult or uncomfortable. Some might have had negative past experiences or feel uncertain about trusting someone new. A supportive, nonjudgmental space is provided here, where these concerns are acknowledged and respected, and therapy moves at a comfortable pace set for you. Specializing uniquely in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Behavioral Therapy, clients are encouraged to reach out today to take the first step toward meaningful change and healing.
