    1. How do I become a client/start a therapy session?
      – You will visit the homepage of our website and select the new client pop-up.  From there, you will fill out an intake form and submit it. You will then receive an email once it is approved, with onboarding documents.  After completion of said documents, you will receive a confirmation email, and a call from staff to schedule your 15-minute free consultation.
    2. Is therapy expensive? Do you take insurance?
      – We do understand that medical costs are sometimes a burden.  We try our best to make sure everyone has access to our mental health services.  We accept most commercial coverages as well as most Ohio state-funded coverages. For those who may not have medical insurance, we do offer a reduced hourly rate for sessions.  The amount varies per therapist, between the rate of $65-$130 per session.
    3. What coverages do you accept?– We have a list of coverages available from our home page.  If you are still unsure just give us a call.
    4. Where are you located?– We are located at 6960 Market St. Youngstown, Ohio we are the first to the left in the front door.  We also, offer virtual sessions using Tele-Health
    5. How do I cancel an appointment?
      – You can cancel appointments conveniently on your online client portal.  You can also contact your therapist.  All cancellations need to be made 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.  We are human, so of course there are exceptions to this policy per family emergency.
    6. How do I contact billing? – Our billing department is in-house, so they are just a call away.  Call our office main line and press #2.

    7. How do I get in touch with Management? – You can email, kross@traumatherapycompany.com or call the office and press #3

    8. How long is a session?  – A session can vary from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
    9. Who can we service? – Anyone in the State of Ohio.  All sessions must be held in the state of Ohio.
    10. How do I become a provider/Intern at The Trauma Therapy Company?

    11. What do I do in case of an emergency?
      – You can contact your therapist and request an emergency session.   If you are unable to keep yourself safe or stop yourself from hurting someone else, call 911 or visit your local emergency room.  You can also contact the suicide hotline @ 988
